Anna Gelei graduated from the Budapest University of Economics, where she obtained a PhD degree. She also studied at the Faculty of Economics of two famous US universities, MIT and UCLA, Berkeley. As Visiting Professor, Anna taught macro-economic planning and econometrics at the Universidad Mayor de San Marcos in Lima, Peru for three years. She worked, as adviser at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in commercial policy making for Peru. In the position of Senior Development Officer of UNIDO (Vienna, Austria), she directed the work on quantitative analysis and growth modeling, as well as the industrialization strategies for the Third World. She was responsible for data bank management, forecasting and analysis of world economy with a focus on industry. From 1990, Anna worked as an adviser of regional development and EU-Phare financed projects in Hungary.

Anna joined EUROPE Ltd. in 2003. She worked on the quick scan of enterprises. She participated in the controlling and advisory study of four Hungarian universities with medical faculties. She works as a project evaluator. Her sector coverage includes Regional development, Customs, Justice and Home affairs, Agriculture and Environment.
